Macy von Matterhorn is a 3 year old sable German Shepherd. The sables are popular in Germany and are bred for temperament and health. They are often working dogs because they are solid and bred for endurance. Macy on the other hand would be happy to go for a walk or two and hang around the house. She is up for a hike or two but she is content to be with you whatever you want to do! She is housebroken and has good manners; she can be left alone in the house. She is wonderful with children and is very gentle. Macy is a devoted dog and will follow her person from room to room and loves to snuggle. She is fine with her food and is willing to share whatever she has. Macy is fine with dogs she meets, but please no cats. We aren’t sure why but almost every sable female we get has just been bred and then left at a shelter. It is probably a money making enterprise and the mom is no longer needed. Macy is ready for a new chapter of her life, she is done with motherhood and ready for her better life to begin. She will make someone feel so loved and adored!
